The La Roche-Posay Young Investigator Grant is a competitive funding programme that provides up to $50,000 in funding to early-career dermatologists, residents, and fellows. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the programme, which aims to support research that transforms patient quality of life through clinical medicine, biology, and pharmacology.

The programme is open to early-career dermatologists who have completed their residency in the US and are conducting research in the first five years of their practice. Applicants must submit proposals, including a research plan, CV, mentorship letter, verification affidavit, and budget, by 1 November.

A panel of board-certified dermatologists, chaired by Dr Adam Friedman, will review the proposals and award grants to the selected researchers. The winners will be announced in early 2027 and recognized at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting in San Francisco, US.
