Skin Cupid Brings K-Beauty to UK Communities with Summer Roadshow
Skin Cupid, a UK-based K-beauty retailer, is hosting a multi-stop summer roadshow to connect with its community and showcase leading Korean beauty brands.
## Skin Cupid's Community-Focused Roadshow Skin Cupid, a UK-based K-beauty retailer, is set to connect with its community through a multi-stop summer roadshow. The event, inspired by South Korea's Jeju Island, will bring leading Korean beauty brands directly to consumers in UK cities Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Birmingham. The roadshow, which takes place from 28 August to 20 September, marks Skin Cupid's first physical activation outside of London. The retailer aims to create a fun and memorable experience for its community, referred to as 'Cherubs,' who have shown a deep connection to the culture surrounding K-beauty. According to Melody Yuan, founder and CEO of Skin Cupid, the retailer views itself as more than just a retail brand. Yuan stated that expanding its physical presence beyond London was a top priority, given that more than 80% of its UK community is based outside of the capital. ## Immersive Experience for K-Beauty Enthusiasts The roadshow will feature six brands: Anua, Purito, Dear Klairs, Manyo, Mixsoon, and Kundal. These brands were selected as 'staple favourites' among Skin Cupid's community, according to Yuan. The curated line-up aims to represent the full spectrum of Korean skin care, offering a complete and thoughtful narrative. The consumer experience at the pop-up is designed to be a 'transportive' experience, with a focus on product discovery. At the entrance, attendees will receive a limited edition summer tote packed with a surprise gift. The event promises to be an immersive experience for K-beauty enthusiasts, allowing them to discover, test, and take home their favourite brands in person. Skin Cupid's community-focused approach aims to show up for its broader community and bring a unique experience directly to them. The retailer is thrilled to give its community outside of London the chance to engage with its brand partners and discover new products. The roadshow is set to be a memorable experience for K-beauty enthusiasts, and attendees are encouraged to join in on the fun.
