Christine Delfaut-Sara has been named CEO of French beauty brand Nuxe, succeeding Muriel Koch effective 1 October 2026.

Christine Delfaut-Sara has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Nuxe. She succeeds Muriel Koch, with the change taking effect from 1 October 2026.
Delfaut-Sara’s long-standing role at Nuxe
Christine Delfaut-Sara is no newcomer to the company. She joined Nuxe in 2019 as deputy director responsible for brand strategy. She has been part of the management team and executive committee ever since, accumulating over seven years with the group prior to her promotion.
Her responsibilities at Nuxe have been broad. They spanned marketing, digital and e-commerce, innovation, brand activation, communications, and consumer market intelligence. She continued to work across brand strategy, digital, innovation, and international growth.
Extensive beauty industry background
Delfaut-Sara brings more than three decades of beauty industry experience to the role. Before joining Nuxe, she spent 17 years at Beiersdorf in Germany. Beiersdorf is the parent company of Nivea.
At Beiersdorf, she held various marketing and product roles before rising to become Global Marketing Director for skin care, hair care, and personal care. She moved to Groupe Rocher in 2010 as Chief Marketing Officer of Yves Rocher.
In that position, she oversaw worldwide marketing strategy, innovation, and a portfolio covering make-up, skincare, fragrance, and personal care. She later became Global Head of Retail & Brand Communication at Groupe Rocher. There, she was responsible for retail communication, PR, digital and social media, media strategy, and consumer trends.
Nuxe’s brand legacy and global reach
Nuxe is a leader in French pharmacy cosmetics with a heritage spanning over 35 years. Founder Aliza Jabès established the brand in the 1990s, building its business around beauty products sold primarily through pharmacies.
The group operates its own research and development laboratory and manufacturing facilities in France. Its portfolio includes the brands BIO-BEAUTÉ by NUXE, RESULTIME, and NUXE Spa.
Nuxe has achieved significant global scale. It is available in 60 countries through a network of more than 30,000 points of sale. In the UK and Ireland alone, it has 182 retail points of sale. The company employs more than 800 people worldwide.
Its iconic products include the Huile Prodigieuse dry oil, Crème Fraîche de Beauté, and the Rêve de Miel range.
Strategic vision for Nuxe’s future
The leadership change signals a new phase for Nuxe. The company is pursuing international expansion and transformation following Muriel Koch’s eight-year tenure. Under Koch, Nuxe achieved particularly strong international growth.
Founder and President Aliza Jabès stated that Delfaut-Sara has already played a key role in strengthening the brand’s presence in France and internationally since joining. Jabès expressed confidence in her strategic vision for the future.
"Her strategic vision and ability to drive transformation will be invaluable assets as we accelerate our development," said Aliza Jabès.
On LinkedIn, Delfaut-Sara thanked Jabès and the company’s teams. She said she was taking on the new role with “immense gratitude and enthusiasm.” In a press release, she added that she accepts the leadership with gratitude and knows she can count on extraordinary teams to continue driving Nuxe's ambition.
Christine Delfaut-Sara will take office as CEO on October 1, leading Nuxe into its next phase of development.
