The Shoppe Object New York Summer 2026 trade show ran from August 2nd to the 4th at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in West Chelsea. It was the largest and most attended event in the show's history, with a nearly 10 percent year-over-year increase in traffic and over 900 exhibitors from 56 countries.

According to the event report from CaFleurebon, the show filled two floors of the historic building. More than half of the international exhibitors reportedly selected Shoppe Object as their exclusive U.S. showcase. The diverse turnout included buyers and media from 42 countries.

Niche Fragrance Highlights

Luckyscent, described as the leading U.S. online retailer for rare and niche perfumes, showcased a curated selection. Representatives Adam Fox and Rylan Valdez were present from Los Angeles. Brands on display included Maison Mataha, Les Bains Guerbois, and Tauer Perfumes.

Anood Scents, founded by Alanood Al Khalifa, was inspired by her life in Bahrain. The brand's debut trio was created in collaboration with New York-based perfumer Gustavo Romero. Each fragrance is crafted to transform personal stories through a contemporary olfactive lens.

Each fragrance carries a number inspired by numerology, intended to add a layer of symbolism.

Other Notable Brands

The Van Pelt Agency, a Los Angeles-based firm, presented a curated selection of brands. These included the citrus-forward fragrance Rock by Zernell Gillie and the Amsterdam-founded luxury niche line Vacanza. Vacanza's scents are created by master perfumer Frank Voelkl and are inspired by destinations.

Trudon, with its historic lineage, presented its latest creation, Carmen. This scent is a reimagining of the Ernesto candle into a skin-focused fragrance. It was crafted by perfumer Émilie Bouge at a 15% parfum concentration.

Glasshouse Fragrances was also in attendance, coming off its 20th year in business. The brand was launched by New Yorker Nicole Eckels.

Several home fragrance and lifestyle brands with a focus on natural ingredients were featured. Catskills Candle Studio, a female-owned business, uses 100% natural soy wax. Its newest scent is called White Tea + Tides. Brooklyn Candle Studio, founded by Tamara Mayne, also uses 100% soy wax and produces candles in a Brooklyn workshop. Freckleface Home Fragrances, a UK brand, makes vegan-friendly, hand-made products. Fulton & Roark, which launched in 2013, is known for its travel-friendly solid colognes.

The skincare brand & Tread Well, founded in 2023 by sisters Emily and Claire Loughran, offers a microbiome-friendly collection that includes fragrances. Range Essentials, founded by Deanna Keller, features a flagship pain-relief blend called LOW BLEND, which contains helichrysum, lavender, peppermint, clove, and blue tansy oils.
