Anna Zini launches Tu me fais… for toilet wellness
Anna Zini introduces Tu me fais…, a fragrance brand focused on toilet wellness, featuring a bottle and scented matches, sold at 25 euros and 15 euros respectively, debuting at Paris Perfume Week 2026.

Anna Zini launches Tu me fais…, a new fragrance brand that redefines the way we think about toilet hygiene. The brand’s first bottle is priced at 25 euros, while its scented matches cost 15 euros. The launch took place at Paris Perfume Week 2026 and the products are now available in fifteen French retail locations.
Brand Concept and Naming
Zini, who previously worked for L’Oréal, said she had long wanted to create a brand that pushed a bold stance. The idea came during the Covid-19 pandemic when Aesop’s Post-Poo Drops ran out of stock. She noticed a lack of premium options for toilet fragrances and decided to fill that gap. The name Tu me fais… was chosen to “say loudly what everyone thinks quietly.” The brand’s mission is to change how people view a daily moment that is rarely discussed.
The product line is built around a pre-toilet ritual and a post-toilet ritual. Before using the toilet, a few drops of the fragrance are placed in the bowl. The scent is described as a “Bulles Imaginaires” experience that transports the user to a place such as a Mediterranean cliff or an English manor garden. After the toilet, the ritual shifts to functional scenting. The scented match Tu me fais craquer burns sulfurous compounds, while the drop Tu me fais chier re-installs a pleasant odor in the room.
The fragrances were created by Symrise perfumers Aliénor Massenet and Suzy Le Helley. They chose to build each scent around top and heart notes only, leaving the base note to be the scent that remains after the toilet is used. The result is a rapid, blooming diffusion in the air.
Product Line and Fragrance Development
The core of the Tu me fais… line is a single bottle and a set of scented matches. The bottle, priced at 25 euros, contains the pre-toilet fragrance. The matches, priced at 15 euros, are designed to eliminate bad odors after the toilet. The brand emphasizes that the scent is both a ritual and a functional solution.
| Item | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle | 25 euros | Pre-toilet fragrance |
| Matches | 15 euros | Post-toilet odor control |
The development process involved a collaboration between the perfumers and the brand’s design team. Zini described her role as a sculptor with a scalpel, refining each facet of the project until the right balance was achieved.
Market Reception and Distribution
During its debut at Paris Perfume Week 2026, a Japanese distributor expressed immediate interest, noting that Japanese consumers pay close attention to toilet hygiene. The brand is now sold in fifteen French points of sale, ranging from niche perfumeries to concept stores. In Paris, the brand is carried by Bureau du Parfum.
Zini said the concept typically elicits a smile followed by curiosity. The initial reception has encouraged the brand to continue developing new products within the Tu me fais… line.
The next steps for Tu me fais… include expanding the fragrance range and exploring additional scented accessories, according to Zini. The brand’s focus remains on blending ritual, storytelling, and functional scenting to create a memorable experience for everyday moments.
