Anna Marcovici, the General Manager of Westman Atelier's Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, is stepping down from her role after six-and-a-half years with the US luxury beauty brand.

Marcovici joined Westman Atelier in March 2020, a time when the world was in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite initial concerns about launching a luxury makeup brand during this challenging period, Marcovici and her team were able to achieve significant milestones, including opening eight new markets between March and December 2020, and another ten the following year.

Before joining Westman Atelier, Marcovici had a diverse background in the beauty industry, having held leadership roles at various brands, including NARS, MAC Cosmetics, and Clinique. She also founded her own edible beauty supplement brand, Manifesto, and ran Impact Beauty, a strategy and positioning firm.

Marcovici's departure from Westman Atelier follows the brand's recent funding round, in which it secured US$15m from investors in April 2026. This brings the total amount of funding raised by the brand to $36.9m, according to market data company Pitchbook.

Marcovici has expressed her gratitude to Westman Atelier's founders, Gucci Westman and David Neville, as well as the global Westman Atelier team, for the opportunity to work with them and build the brand from the ground up. Her exit marks the end of an era for Westman Atelier's EMEA region, but the brand is likely to continue its growth trajectory under new leadership.

Westman Atelier's Leadership Transition

The news of Marcovici's departure has sparked interest in the beauty industry, with many wondering what the future holds for Westman Atelier. While the brand has not yet announced a replacement for Marcovici, it is clear that the company is poised for continued success and growth.

As the beauty industry continues to evolve, it will be exciting to see how Westman Atelier navigates the next chapter of its journey. With its commitment to innovation and excellence, the brand is likely to remain a major player in the luxury beauty market.
